Migrants are #NotAlone

Across the globe, people who migrate or are displaced from their homes face unacceptable risks. But people on the move are not alone in their journeys. Whether at land or sea, the work of the IFRC Network aims to save lives, reduce risks and provide access to essential services.

Ensuring no one is alone

Around the world, Red Cross red Crescent volunteers ensure that migrants are #NotAlone.

Around the world, Red Cross red Crescent volunteers ensure that migrants are #NotAlone.

At almost every moment of every day, Red Cross and Red Crescent teams are helping people cope with the risks and challenges along migration journeys and working to protect and restore their dignity.

At border crossings, handing out food and water. In call centres, connecting people to lost family members. At airports, bus stops and train stations, providing people with a warm meal, a kind ear, and a safe space to rest. Wherever there is need, Red Cross and Red Crescent is there.

Protection through partnership

The Programmatic Partnership is an important mechanism supporting our work assisting migrants.

The Programmatic Partnership is an important mechanism supporting our work assisting migrants.

A critical element in our work to ensure migrants are not alone is the Programmatic Partnership. This partnership between IFRC, many of its member National Societies and the European Union, supports our efforts to protect the safety, dignity and rights of people on the move and provide principled humanitarian assistance that meets their complex needs.
